The combat system in this game is well-balanced, maintaining a degree of moderate difficulty while giving players enough room to solve problems creatively. This is thanks to a very well-designed tutorial system that effectively teaches you the basics. While Link starts his epic quest armed with little more than a humble tree branch, players will soon find themselves swinging swords and using weapons with ease. The result is an atmospheric experience that makes exploring the map and going on adventures so delightfully addictive, that the game is hard to put down. Valuable resources and ingredients for cooking and crafting can also be found in the form of flora and fauna. Expect to find yourself in a diverse range of environments, from floating islands to lush forests, as you traverse the land. While this game sports the same art style as its prequel, its game world is more dynamic, more populated, and more alive. In Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo has created a vibrant and immersive world that is even larger, offering players a massive number of places that they can freely explore. Gamers who played Breath of the Wild have often marvelled at how large the game world is. The star of the show is its adventure and exploration, and this delightful game offers plenty. While Tears of the Kingdom sports a tale that is, for most parts, exciting and entertaining, the game’s storyline has never been the main focus of a Zelda title. In the chaos, Zelda disappears, and it is up to Link again to save the day. Their exploration soon leads them to some ancient ruins, awakening a mummified Ganondorf who was lying within. This incarnation of the story opens several years after Breath of the Wild, with Zelda and Link exploring the underground passages beneath Hyrule Castle as they search for a way to stop a mysterious blight known simply as “Gloom”. Like almost every Zelda game out there, Tears of the Kingdom’s story revolves around the hero, Link, fighting the evil Ganondorf to rescue the titular Princess Zelda. We have good news for you: the fans asked for a bigger and better sequel, and Nintendo delivered it with Tears of the Kingdom. With its last outing on the Nintendo Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, being such an outstanding title, it was hard to imagine Nintendo topping that game with an even better one. The Legend of Zelda franchise has always been known for its awesome games. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Switch) review: A glorious masterpiece
